     Okay guys, for this opportunity I would to give you about place of tourism, especially in Bengkulu city. In Bengkulu there many places can you visit, such as Pantai Panjang, Tapak Padri, and Pantai Zakat. And now I will explain for you about Fort Malborough.
      Fort Malborough is the fortress of the town of Bengkulu on the United Kingdom remains. This Fort was built by the East India Company (EIC) 1713-1719 under the leadership of GovernorJoseph Callet as a fortified United Kingdom. Purportedly, this fort was the strongestFort in United Kingdom in the eastern region after Fort St. George at Madras, India.The Fort was erected on the hill overlooking the artificial city of Bengkulu andmemunggungi the Indian Ocean. The Fort was once burned by the Bengkulu people;so that its inhabitants were forced to evacuate to Madras. They then again in 1724after held promise. In 1793, the attack again was launched. The incident was a United Kingdom officer, Robert Hamilton, was killed. And then in 1807, resident Thomas Parrwas also killed. Both are commemorated by the establishment of the monuments in the city of Bengkulu by Government of United Kingdom.
             Marlborough still serves as a stronghold until the Netherlands East Indies in 1825-1942, Japan from 1942-1945, and the war of independence Indonesia. Since losing toJapan in 1948, the Fort was the headquarters of the national police. However, in 1949-1950, Fort Marlborough was occupied again by the Netherlands. After the Netherlandswent in 1950, Fort Marlborough became the headquarters of the TNI-AD. Until 1977,the Fort was handed over to the education and culture to be restored and the buildingof cultural heritage.

       Located of Benteng Malborough in JL. KG. Cina, 38112 Bengkulu, IndonesiaIndonesia‎. to enter into the Fort tourists are required to pay 2,500/person. To go to the Fort Malborough is very young. because the place in the middle of Bengkulu city. From the airport of Fatmawati Bengkulu, visitors can take a minibus or rental car. in less than 1 hour then it will arrive at Fort Malborough.
