Dark Tourism

The word "Dark Tourism" are two words that are prevalent in the ear every tourism. However, this has not been very popular among the public. The Dark Tourism was first coined by Prof. Malcolm Foley and John Lennon Glasgow Caledonian University in 1996. Dark Tourism if defined directly is Dark Tourism, and the word "dark" here has another meaning or another side, where the meaning is something that should not be skipped, touched, or trodden under foot by men such as: the location of natural disasters (floods, volcanic eruptions, etc.), the location where the Battle Scars, etc. So, the Dark Tourism can be defined as a region or territory formerly tourism area, but instead serve as a tourism region ". 

Many people always interested in seeing/knowing about death and disaster, it can be seen from when there are accidents on the streets, each rider will soon to just see what was going on. In Indonesia itself it can be viewed directly from a broadcast of a proliferation of criminality such as: patrol, Interceptors, and catch Buser, who broadcasts all forms of evil and the dark side of humanity. 

Besides, Dark Tourism is also one of phenomena in tourism. In Dark Tourism not customarily because in Dark Tourism tourist will be offered with all of thing proof of cruelty, murder and war. But, in fact events of “dark” always interested many people. Furthermore, Dark Tourism also offered sense of belonging and culture indentify. for people who are visiting because of their insight into the open with a visit to the historic yet refurbished property and also at the same time commemorate the events at my Lai clouds so it wouldn't happen again. Dark Tourism as an alternative. It means Dark Tourism can give learning values from any place that dikungjugi by tourists. Many wisdom from every events. They become aware that the acts of violence which occurred in a place that was the remarkable thing from the history of mankind that is not expected to happen again. 

So I disagree with Dark Tourism for making money out of mourning of people, because we should respected to this events, people that live in around place of events.
